You’re a person, not a policy.
We’re creating Peace of Mind for the People we Care About.

When used safely, cell phones are wonderful tools. You can get roadside assistance or call the police for help if you have car trouble or get into an accident. You can use your cell phone to get help for others in similar situations, too. Cell phones are very useful when they involve needing help, or contacting other people.

Despite its usefulness, talking on your cell phone while driving is dangerous. Also, remember that texting while driving is illegal! The following tips are meant to protect you, your family, and everyone else on the road:

• Use your cell phone only when you’re parked, or have a passenger use the phone for you.
• Never dial the phone, engage in conversation, or read or write text messages while driving.
• If your phone rings while driving, let the call go to voicemail and listen to the message later when you are parked.
• If you must answer your phone, tell the caller you are driving and suspend the call until you can pull over.
• Never check or construct a text message while driving.

Please don't wait for a set of laws governing cell phone use. When you're driving, you're much safer when your phone is put away and your full attention is on the road.
